Human Capital Development

Central to the accomplishments of Gamuda is its people. Based on our core believe that every employee is our partner of growth, we continuously capitalise in the advancement of expertise across various expertise within the Group in an effort to nurture new talents as part of our corporate development strategy.

As the employer of choice for over 4,000 employees and still counting, the Group strives to provide a collaborative and engaging work culture that encourages open sharing and discourse among colleagues to create a conducive environment for innovation and excellence.

In our continuous effort to pioneer education and skills training in the industry, we have invested over RM100million over the years in our integrated human capital development initiatives that will produce a stream of certified and well-trained manpower who will contribute to the successful execution of our mega projects.

Being the appointed Project Delivery Partner (PDP) and the lead contractor for the 9.5km underground tunnelling portion for the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit by the Government of Malaysia, we have taken the lead in spearheading the sharing of niche construction knowledge and technology within the industry with the establishment of the world’s first Tunnelling Training Academy (TTA) in November 2011 and the Construction Training Centre (CTC) in May 2011.

The establishment of TTA and CTC diversifies our concurrent employee development drive, adding synergy to a host of scholarship, internship, graduate and continuous learning platforms that aim to reinforce the Group’s future sustainability moving forward.
